ROSES ARE RED
VIOLETS ARE BLUE
WATCH YOUR BACK
I'M COMING FOR YOU
Lylah and her friends can't wait to spend a night out together. Partying is the perfect way to let loose from the stress of life and school, and Lylah hopes that hitting the dance floor with Chace, her best friend, will bring them closer together. She's been crushing on him since they met. If only he thought of her the same way...
The girls are touching up their makeup and the guys are sliding on their coats when the doorbell rings. No one is there. An envelope sits on the doormat. It's an anonymous note addressed to their friend Sonny. A secret admirer? Maybe. They all laugh it off.
Except Sonny never comes home. And a new note arrives:
YOUR TURN
What made me pick this book up:
I think I found it on goodreads 20018 book releases and the title was pretty creepy.

What did I like about the cover:
Eh, I think it should've been different. The flower should have been a rose, and there should've been more blood. A human heart would have been cool too.

What made me read this book:
Well, Jenn read it first, and I like creepy books. Plus it matched up for a task, so why not.

What did I like the most:
The creep factor was pretty great, and I loved the mystery of it. The way the killer sent notes and gifts was great, and I liked the characters for the most part. Especially Chase.

What didn't I like:
The main character was a bit annoying. She just kept going on and on about how much she loved Chase, and wanted him. Like dude, your friends are being murdered and you're obsessing over a guy?
The book was also kind of predictable, I had the killer figured out pretty quickly. Well, it was between two people. But closer to the "big reveal" I had it figured out.

Would I read the rest of the series/more from this author?
This book made it seem like it was making way for a second book, and I'm not sure if I would read it, if there were a second book.
She does have a bunch of books out I do want to read though.

It was a good, creepy book. Basic slasher.
